Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
Our Mission
To be an extension of a child’s family by assisting them in growing their relationship with God. We exist to love children the way that Jesus commanded us to and give them a firm foundation for following Christ throughout their lives. It is our honor to love, teach, and serve families that walk through our doors, in our community, and beyond. We teach biblical truth and encourage children to follow the word: the Bible. Our two underlying principles are: loving everyone that God created and serving Jesus as the Lord of your life.
We Believe
Children build our church and our communities, but more importantly, our future world. We believe in teaching developmentally appropriate material to children based on their age. We believe, based on biblical truth, that the kingdom of Heaven belongs to them. We believe in following the Bible as the law and striving to know, love, and serve God. We want our children to walk away knowing that Jesus loves them above all else.

Structure
Structure in our services is a vital component of enriching our children’s learning. Our preschool and elementary students begin their service with a community activity to ensure that our kids have a strong community to connect with. Our preschool students move on to engage in a video based on our series and lesson that includes group worship to prepare them for our elementary programming.
After a community activity, our elementary students worship together in our Next Gen center. They then watch a video based on our series and lesson. All students then engage in a lesson that typically includes games, fun, and a memory verse sheet to take home.

Staff
Our staff consists of volunteers who are background checked, trained, and observed to teach our children. Our staff is a group of believers who serve God through building our children’s relationship with Him and teaching them His word. Our staff spend quality time building a community with our children, mentoring them, and above all else, loving them.
Curriculum
Our curriculum comes from NewSpring Church. This curriculum intentionally curates materials around children's specific ages and learning style. Each week, we teach new lesson based around a specific series. Our curriculum includes take home material to assist in cross-environmental learning, a type of learning that allows children to better retain.
We also send out a weekly newsletter detailing what biblical references we are following for the week and what our current series is with the intention that families can bring what we are learning into their home, spend time learning about it as a family, and create a household with God in the center.

Special Needs Students
We believe that every child is a child made wonderfully in God’s image. We are blessed to host an all-inclusive program fit to every child’s needs. We have a sensory room built with guidance from Occupational Therapists to ensure that we create a calming and regulating space for children who need it. Our curriculum includes special needs material that is prepared in this room so children can regulate while continuing to learn in service.
Security
We take the security of our Children’s ministry extremely seriously. During our time in service, our ministry is strictly locked down with security personnel monitoring at all times. When the very first child arrives, to the time that the last child leaves, our ministry is only accessible to parents who hold a security tag and children who are involved in services. If someone attempts to enter the ministry without these qualifications, they will be stopped and asked to wait outside the ministry until appropriate personnel arrive to assess. A parent may enter the ministry at any time to access their child. We believe that children should be protected at all times.
