Shane and his wife Meagan both grew up in Rising Sun. After doing ministry in various places around the country for nearly 20 years, God called him back to his home church. His greatest desire is to see this community know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

In his free time, Shane loves to spend time with his wife and their two children. He loves to golf, watch baseball, and eat Skyline! 
 

Adam, a Cincinnati native, leads our Youth Ministry (6th–12th grade). He is passionate about helping students and parents build a lasting foundation of faith in Christ and loves sharing how Jesus has transformed his life. Adam is married to his wife, Sydney, and they enjoy spending time with their dog, Remi. In his free time, Adam loves coffee shops, cheering on the Bengals and Reds, hiking, traveling, and golfing!

Mark serves as the Next Steps Pastor at Rising Sun Church of Christ, where his passion is helping people as they take their next steps in faith. He and his wife, Janelle, have been married for 34 years, and she has faithfully supported him in ministry throughout that time.
Before entering full-time ministry, Mark spent 33 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic. After retiring, God called Mark to lead Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery ministry in his home church. That season deepened his heart for walking alongside people as they discover hope and healing through Jesus.
When God opened the door to serve at Rising Sun, Mark couldn’t say no to the revival and movement of the Spirit happening in this community. His greatest joy is pointing people to the life-changing power of Christ’s radical grace and belligerent hope.
Mark and Janelle are blessed with three grown children and a daughter-in-law, and they love doing life and ministry together.

Ethan Snelling grew up in the town of Rising Sun and, after attending several churches, found his home at Rising Sun Church of Christ. As the Children’s Director, he provides leadership for the kids’ ministry, creating a welcoming environment where children can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and experience God’s love in meaningful ways.

Ethan is passionate about guiding the next generation to know, love, and serve God. Outside of RSCC, Ethan remains actively involved in the community through his work at the local school. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and visiting coffee shops in his free time.
