RSCC Family Quarterly Update
Hello RSCC Family!
2026 has been an incredible year so far. We have seen 20 people get baptized, we have had over 500 in average weekly attendance. So many of you have stepped into serving. We have seen so many new families start to join us regularly. Our children’s ministry is growing both in how many children are attending and in how many people are helping out. Our life groups are growing, Celebrate Recovery is seeing incredible impact. Here’s what all of that means - more people are saying yes to Jesus. When God calls, so many of you are saying yes. We are living out the vision of our church to Know, Love, and Serve Jesus Christ! Thank you for stepping into what God is calling you to. Let’s keep going! Let’s know Jesus more, and allow our connection with Him to overflow into our community.
This year we have had a few sermon series that have helped us understand what it means to be the church and boldly step into God’s call for us. We started the year in a series called Faith Over Fear, where we looked at the times in scripture where a problem seemed insurmountable, but God did what no one else can do. He has proven time and again to be able to overcome our deepest fears. He is able.
Then we studied First and Second Corinthians in an effort to understand how God designed His church. In the series How to:Church, we learned the ins and outs of how the church was setup to function and how we apply that in the life of RSCC. At the end of that series we asked you to plant a new flag in the ground and commit to being a part of this church family. So many of you said “I’M IN” the RSCC family - so now, let’s lock arms and run together as we run after Jesus.
This summer we are going to study the life of King David. We will look at all of his successes and failures and learn what it means to be a person who chases after the heart of God. I’m so excited for all that God will do in the life our church this summer through VBS, summer camps, and our weekend services. Below is a quick overview of the stats of the church up to this point of the year. I've also provided some information on what it looks like to build a healthy staff at a growing church. I hope all of this helps you align with what we are doing as we follow where the Holy Spirit leads. We pray that this will keep us all connected as we steward all of our resources for the glory of God!
Thank you for all you do as a part of this church family. We will see you Sunday!

Staffing Update
A growing church needs a growing staff. According multiple church statistic sources, a healthy growing church needs a staff ratio of 1:75-100 (1 pastor for every 75-100 people) in order to continue to thrive. This helps keep the vision aligned, the mission focused, and the people growing and engaged. That would mean that at our current size, we would need 6 full time staff members in order to keep up with need. We currently have 4. With that in mind, we are currently searching for another full time Pastor to help us meet the needs of our church. They will help provide more pastoral care and shepherding for our church while specifically overseeing all the music, media, technology, and the volunteers that make our weekend services work. The search is ongoing and we will provide updates as they come. Please be praying for this exciting season in the life of our church!
